This is Billy “Doughnuts” Deans and Watermelon at the Skateboarder tent at Spring Breakyoself. Billy was challenging kids to games of ro-sham-bo for free subscriptions and random other stuff we had available to giveaway. Watermelon came in and hung hard and Craig from CCS got up with the camera-action. Dude! Look how thrilled Watermelon is.

I wish we could say the dude was at least wearing soap shoes or was trying to get epic on the rail, but he knew what he wanted and he accomplished it. fully. full frontal sacking upon many a many stair handrail. the fact that he won’t be able to reproduce is what they call “natural selection.” We salute you sir. sacrificing today for a better tomorrow.

There has been a theft of the most ruthless nature here at the Skateboarder HQ. Our TF has been ransacked! Our TF, of course, only consisted of a single box and two flatbars courtesy of Giant, Zero and Element (respectively). Our box has been stolen and we are bummed. I don’t know how it works at other magazines, but we skate that thing every day on our lunch break, and occasionally after work too. It’s an extra bummer, because there’s a school up the road and kids had been coming and using the box at their leisure. It doesn’t make much sense to us, really. It was here for anyone to use and people took it for themselves, when there are more than a handful of parks within a short driving distance (they obviously had a car to haul the box away)?

So to whoever took our box, and we know there were at least 8 of you scrawny bastards because that thing was heavy as hell, may you forever be plagued with rolled ankles, a shitty push, and countless, exceedingly painful shinners.
